Editorial Standards

On La Pistache Paris, I’m the one, Stéphane De Lima, aka Sed Trips, who picks everything I recommend to you, freely, based on my own tastes and favorites. My opinion can’t be bought.

Events, exhibitions, pop-ups, great places: if I recommend it, I’ve tried it. For upcoming events, which I can’t have seen yet, I select the ones that look best to me, based on information from the organizers, including what they send me, or because I’ve tried a previous edition.

Depending on the case, I pay for my visit, I request press access the way journalists do, or I’m invited. Either way, I write what I think. When a venue invites me and the article contains an affiliate link, I say so. And if I’m asked for an article in exchange for something, it’s labeled “Partner article.” In any case, even if I’m invited and I don’t like the activity, I won’t write an article about it.

To fund the site, I use advertising and affiliate links. I only accept partnerships and ads that fit my editorial line, and they are always labeled “Partner article” or “Ad,” on the site as well as in the newsletter. Mentioning a venue or a brand doesn’t imply any partnership, unless it’s labeled.

Some links to ticketing or booking sites may earn me a commission, at no extra cost to you. This is noted at the bottom of each page concerned. A commission never decides what I recommend. I don’t sell tickets or bookings: purchases are made with the seller, who is the one to contact if there’s a problem.

Practical information (addresses, opening hours, prices, dates) is checked as of the date shown on each listing. It can change, so check with the venue before you go. Spotted a mistake? Let me know through the Contact Us page: I’ll fix it, and the update date will change. When a listing has a rating out of 5, it’s my own, given after my visit.

Photos are my own unless otherwise credited: images provided by venues, organizers or advertisers, or taken from press kits. This English version was translated with the help of AI; if it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.

As for the newsletter, I promise never to sell your address or hand it over to an advertiser. Emails I send you on behalf of a partner are labeled “Partner email.” Your time is precious, your inbox is already full enough, and if I can write to you, it’s because you let me: I keep that in mind every time I send one.
